Geely’s commercial vehicle brand, Farizon, is expanding its European operations. At the IAA Transportation event in Hanover, the company announced partnerships with AMF-Bruns, Allianz Partners, BNP Paribas, CATL, Bosch, and ZF. These collaborations aim to provide full support for Farizon’s electric commercial vehicles across Europe, marking a significant step in the brand’s consolidation and expansion into a broader European partner network.
Building a European Network
Farizon plans to establish its own companies in Germany and France, with a focus on local offerings for operation and service. The brand has already set up a spare parts warehouse in Germany, which is now operational, and assembled a European engineering team in 2026. The next steps include creating a European headquarters and further localizing operations, building on their existing presence in the UK, Serbia, Spain, and the Benelux countries.
The partner network covers various aspects of commercial vehicle operations. AMF-Bruns will handle vehicle conversions, Allianz Partners will provide insurance, and BNP Paribas will offer financing services. CATL, Bosch, and ZF will contribute to technology and infrastructure solutions, including battery technology and advanced electric motors, ensuring a full support system for Farizon’s vehicles.
Expanding Vehicle Portfolio
Farizon is also expanding its vehicle lineup. The SV electric transporter, priced from €44,900 net in Germany, is available with 67 or 83 kWh LFP batteries from CATL, offering a range of up to 376 kilometres (WLTP). The SV will receive new batteries, advanced electric motors, and an all-wheel-drive variant, designed to enhance performance in challenging conditions such as snow-rich regions and mountainous terrain.
The company is exploring additional applications for the SV platform, including passenger transport, refrigerated vehicles, and wheelchair-accessible conversions, in collaboration with European body manufacturers. A notable example is the WeRide Robotaxi GXR, based on the SV, with 2,000 units ordered by the Chinese specialist WeRide, showcasing the platform’s versatility.
Focus on Fleet Customers
In addition to the SV, Farizon offers the V7E for urban delivery and last-mile logistics, starting at €32,600 net, with 50 or 67 kWh batteries providing a range of up to 328 kilometres. The company also showcased the Homtruck at IAA Transportation, an electric truck designed with a focus on driver comfort and workspace, highlighting Farizon’s commitment to innovation in heavy long-haul transport.
